Akebono Butter Cutting Case ST-3006

This butter cutting case from Akebono Sangyo lets you slice butter cleanly without touching it. Place a stick of butter on the stainless steel wire plate and press the lid down to cut it into thin, even slices in one motion.

The set includes two wire plates sized for 200 g (7.1 oz) and 450 g (15.9 oz) butter blocks, slicing them into pieces of about 5 g (0.2 oz) and 10 g (0.4 oz). The thin slices melt quickly on hot pancakes and make measuring easy for baking or bread machines.

The case can be stored directly in the refrigerator so sliced butter is ready whenever you need it. The lid is not airtight.
