Akebono Egg Strainer Bowl for Custard Yellow

This egg strainer bowl from Akebono Sangyo makes egg custard such as Japanese chawanmushi much easier. Straining the egg mixture and transferring it into cups is usually a chore, but with this bowl you can mix, strain and pour all in one tool.

It is made of polypropylene, heat resistant to 140°C (284°F) and cold resistant to -20°C (-4°F). It measures 20 x 14.8 x 12.2 cm (7.9 x 5.8 x 4.8 in) and weighs 115 g (4.1 oz / 0.25 lb).
