Akebono Sangyo Kakki Hexagonal Sake Cup Ochoko Pomegranate Red TW-3789

This hexagonal sake cup is part of Akebono Sangyo's Kakki series, made to look like glass while standing up to everyday use. The crisp, faceted shape and clear finish give it a glass-like transparency, but the cup is made of copolyester resin, which is safer and more durable than ordinary plastic, so it will not shatter if dropped.

This color is Zakuro, named for the pomegranate, with a deep luster and transparency that shifts and layers as it catches the light, giving the cup a lively look.
