Azuma Gourmet Power Iron Tempura Pot with Handle 16cm

This Azuma tempura pot is made from 1.6 mm (0.06 in) iron with a hammered bottom, which helps reduce warping and adds durability. It is finished with a clear silicone coating.

Iron cookware like this becomes better with use, as the surface develops a natural seasoning from cooking oil over time. Because iron conducts heat evenly, it works well for tempura frying as well as stir-fries and fried rice, giving crisp, distinct results.

It can be used on open gas flames as well as induction (IH) cooktops, including 200V IH units, so it works with most kitchen heat sources. This pot holds 1.3 L (1.4 qt) and weighs 576 g (20.3 oz / 1.27 lb).
