Kamenoko Tawashi Half Hard Scrub Brush

This scrub brush is made from palm fiber trimmed short for a firmer feel and less water splashing during use. It is a two-tone brush, with the white sections made from the same palm fiber bleached from its natural brown color.

Its slim, easy-to-hold shape makes it well suited for scrubbing off stubborn dirt, including washing mud off root vegetables such as burdock and taro and peeling their skins. The brush measures 15 x 6 x 3.2 cm (5.9 x 2.4 x 1.3 in), and its length also makes it useful for cleaning containers with deep bottoms. It is made in Japan.
