Maruyama Giken Kourikka Stainless Steel Yukihira Saucepan Induction 18cm KRY-18

This yukihira-style saucepan is made by skilled artisans in the snow country of Echigo, Niigata, using techniques passed down through generations. It has a simple design meant for long, everyday use as a one-handed pan. The natural wood handle gives it a stable, comfortable grip, and the hammered surface finish gives each pan a handmade texture. The inside of the pan has measurement markings, which make it easy to check liquid levels while cooking.

This 18 cm (7.1 in) size measures 36 x 19.2 x 10.5 cm (14.2 x 7.6 x 4.1 in), stands about 78 mm (3.1 in) tall, and weighs 530 g (18.7 oz / 1.17 lb). It holds about 1.7 L (1.8 qt) when filled to the brim. The pan can be used on a gas stove as well as induction (IH) and CH cooktops.
