SALUS Yogurt Strainer Container

This yogurt strainer container from SALUS is designed to make thick, strained yogurt at home. Plain yogurt is placed in the strainer insert, and as it sits in the container, the whey drains out through the mesh, leaving behind a thicker, creamier yogurt.

The set is made of polypropylene, AS resin, and 18-8 stainless steel, and it measures 13.7 x 13.4 x 9.5 cm (5.4 x 5.3 x 3.7 in) and weighs 213 g (7.5 oz / 0.47 lb).

Simply spoon yogurt into the strainer, cover, and refrigerate until it reaches the thickness you like. The drained whey collects in the lower container and can be poured off or saved for other uses.
