SALUS Yogurt Strainer Container Large

This large yogurt strainer container from SALUS works the same way as the standard size, but with a wider basket for draining bigger batches of yogurt. Plain yogurt is placed in the strainer insert, and the whey drains out through the mesh as it sits, leaving a thicker, creamier yogurt behind.

It is made of polyethylene, AS resin, and 18-8 stainless steel, and it measures 17.1 x 17.1 x 12.4 cm (6.7 x 6.7 x 4.9 in), weighing 363 g (12.8 oz / 0.80 lb).

To use it, spoon yogurt into the strainer basket, cover, and refrigerate until it reaches the thickness you like. The whey collects in the lower container and can be poured off once draining is complete.
