Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Grater Peeler AOP-686

This two-in-one tool from Shimomura Kogyo combines a peeler with a grater built into the back of the handle. Use the peeler blade for daikon radish and carrots, and flip it over to grate ginger, wasabi, and other small seasonings. It also works for peeling citrus fruit such as oranges, and includes a potato eye remover.

Compact and lightweight at 12 x 8.2 x 1.3 cm (4.7 x 3.2 x 0.5 in) and about 22 g (0.8 oz / 0.05 lb), it is easy to keep in a kitchen drawer alongside other everyday tools.

Made in Japan, the peeler has a stainless steel blade set into an ABS resin handle.
