Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Stainless Julienne Slicer and Grater ASO-721

This double-sided slicer is part of the Ajiwai Shokubo series of kitchen tools. One side slices vegetables into julienne strips about 5 mm (0.2 in) wide, a thickness suited to dishes such as kinpira and vegetable salads. Flip it over and the other side works as a grater with sharp edges that cut through food rather than crushing it, so grated ingredients keep their texture and a crisp bite.

The blade is made of stainless steel, which resists rust and does not pick up color or odor from food, keeping it clean to use. This is a Japan-made tool for everyday food prep.
