Shimomura Shuttle-Kun Recycling Scissors RHS-01

These scissors are designed for separating recyclables, cutting PET bottles apart from their plastic caps and doing the same for bottles of soy sauce, sauce, and dressing. The blade tip is shaped to bite into the gap between the bottle and the cap so the two can be cut apart easily.

The grip is shaped to be easy to hold, allowing the cutting to be done safely. The scissors can also be used to peel labels off PET bottles.

Compact at about 14.2 x 8.5 x 1 cm (5.6 x 3.3 x 0.4 in) and 52 g (1.8 oz / 0.11 lb), they are easy to keep near the recycling bin.
