This pair of scissors is part of the Karuraku series, designed to make everyday tasks easier for everyone from children to older adults. It is made for taking apart plastic bottles so they can be sorted correctly for recycling, including rings that are normally hard to remove.
It also works for removing pour spout caps from seasoning bottles and for peeling labels off bottles. A built-in bottle opener lets you open a tightly closed PET bottle cap with little effort.
