Tanabe Kanagu Hana Copper Tumbler 300ml Set of 2 Paulownia Box Matte 2846

This copper tumbler is made for beer, keeping it ice cold and giving the foam a smoother, more mellow texture. Copper conducts heat quickly, so a cold drink poured in chills almost instantly and stays that way.

The inside is lined with tin, which is said to soften and enhance the drink's flavor through an ionic effect, and the outside has a baked-on clear coating that keeps the copper from discoloring over time. The design leaves out hammered texture so the natural look and feel of copper comes through, and it sits comfortably in the hand. Both the inside and outside are engraved with the character for "Hana" (flower).

This matte version also has a tin coating on the outside, giving it a calm, cool silver-toned shine.

Each tumbler stands about 120 mm tall (4.7 in) and weighs about 150 g (5.3 oz / 0.33 lb), holding up to 300 ml (10.1 fl oz). The set of two is packaged together in a paulownia wood box, making it a nice gift set.
