Taniguchi Metal Deep Tray Wire Rack Large

This is a large wire mesh insert made for Taniguchi Kinzoku's Japanese-made deep aluminum bat trays. It is made of chrome-plated steel and drops into the matching tray to lift food above the base, letting liquid drain or collect underneath.

It measures about 27.8 x 21.3 x 3.6 cm (10.9 x 8.4 x 1.4 in) and weighs about 458 g (16.2 oz / 1.01 lb). It is the large size in a lineup of deep bat mesh inserts offered in several sizes.

Use it together with the matching aluminum deep bat tray, sold separately, for tasks such as draining, cooling, or resting prepped food above the tray in a commercial or home kitchen.
