Tiger Crown Total Color Heat Resistant Skimmer Ladle 2169

This heat-resistant ladle is designed for skimming foam and scum (aku) from soups, stocks, and simmered dishes. Simply run the back of the ladle across the surface of the liquid and the foam clings to the textured ridges built into the back, making it easy to lift away.

The ladle is made of polyetherimide resin that withstands heat up to 204 degrees C (399 degrees F) and is safe to clean in a dishwasher. A measuring line on the bowl marks about 100 ml (3.4 fl oz), so we find it handy for everyday cooking as well as skimming.
