Tiger Crown Total Color Mini Skimmer Ladle 2165

This mini ladle is designed for skimming scum (aku) off simmering dishes while cooking. Running the back of the ladle over the surface draws the skimmed foam onto raised ridges, where it collects and sticks instead of floating back into the pot.

It is made of polyetherimide that withstands heat up to 204°C and can be washed in the dishwasher. The ladle holds about 30 ml (1 fl oz), a handy size for everyday Japanese cooking such as simmered dishes and soups.
