Toyo-Sasaki Glass Shizunami Small Dish (Kozuke) 8.5cm

The Shizunami series pairs clear glass with a gentle rippled relief pattern inspired by calm waves on water. The delicate texture creates soft shadows that highlight the food served on it, and the dish works well for both Japanese and Western-style dishes.

This small dish (Kozuke) is part of a larger Shizunami lineup that also includes a small bowl (Nozoki), a serving dish (Mukouzuke), a wash bowl, a medium bowl, and a deep plate, so pieces can be chosen to match the dish being served.

It measures 8.5 x 8.5 x 4.7 cm (3.3 x 3.3 x 1.9 in) and weighs about 150 g (5.3 oz / 0.33 lb). Made of soda-lime glass (Fine Clear) in Japan.
