Toyo-Sasaki Glass Wagokoro Pair Tumbler Sakura Pattern

Wagokoro means a gift given with heartfelt care, passed from person to person. This pair of tumblers from Toyo-Sasaki Glass uses a simple shape suited to everyday use at the table, decorated with an auspicious Japanese sakura (cherry blossom) motif.

The design shows cherry blossom petals drifting on the breeze and settling onto the surface of water. Part of each tumbler is given a soft, hand-applied frosted finish that contrasts with the clear glass, so the frosting may vary slightly in placement and shade from piece to piece.

Each tumbler holds 240 ml (8.1 fl oz) and measures 65 x 65 x 118 mm (2.6 x 2.6 x 4.6 in). The pair comes packaged together in a dedicated gift box measuring 15.2 x 13.7 x 7.5 cm (6 x 5.4 x 3 in) and weighing 280 g (9.9 oz), making it easy to give as a gift. Because of the decorative finish, we recommend hand washing rather than using a dishwasher, and the tumbler should not be used in a microwave. Made in Japan.
