This ceramic grater resists odors and staining, so it will not develop a metallic smell or alter the flavor of what you grate. The ceramic surface keeps food fibers from tangling in the blade, which makes the grater easy to rinse clean after use.
The underside has a silicone rubber pad that helps keep the grater from slipping during use and protects it from scratches. The grater measures about 19.5 x 16.5 x 3.3 cm (7.7 x 6.5 x 1.3 in) and weighs about 450 g (15.9 oz).
