Wahei Freiz Chitose Deep Two-Handled Pot with Wooden Handles 22cm CS-003

This is the 22 cm (8.7 in) deep two-handled pot from the Chitose series, a stainless steel pot with plain wood handles and a matching wood lid knob. Each one is given a satin finish by craftsmen in Tsubame, Niigata.

We like its simple build. There are no unnecessary ridges or recesses, so it is easy to wash. The matte body also helps hide scratches from daily use.

The deep body holds about 5 L (5.3 qt), so it suits larger batches of miso soup, simmered dishes and curry. It works on gas stoves and induction (IH) cooktops. Made in Japan.
