Wahei Freiz Chitose Paulownia Wood Cutting Board Half-Round 30x26cm CS-063

This cutting board is part of the Chitose series, made from paulownia wood by craftsmen in Kamo City, Niigata, a region known for its paulownia chests. The wood has some give, so it is gentle on a knife's edge, helps keep blades from dulling as quickly, and reduces strain on the wrist during use.

The half-round shape takes up less space than a rectangular board, while still giving enough depth to temporarily set aside cut ingredients as you work. Its natural wood grain also makes it a nice board to bring straight to the table for serving.
