The Wahei Freiz Derimizu series keeps the design deliberately simple, without bright colors or patterns on the interior, for cookware that stays visually out of the way in the kitchen. The body has a satin finish that shows off the texture of the stainless steel.
The interior has a fluororesin coating that resists sticking and is tough enough for use with metal turners, and it wipes clean easily after cooking. The stainless steel wire handle has a design that can also be hung on a hook for storage.
This set pairs a 16 cm (6.3 in) sauce pan, which holds 1.3 L (1.4 qt), with a 20 cm (7.9 in) frying pan, sized so the two pieces can be used side by side without getting in each other's way. Both pieces can be used on gas and induction (IH) cooktops.
