Wahei Freiz Kurotsuchi Iron Frying Pan and Stir Fry Pan 24cm with Lids MB-2582

This Kurotsuchi set includes a 24 cm (9.4 in) iron frying pan, a 24 cm (9.4 in) iron stir fry pan, and a standing stainless steel lid, all made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata. The iron is given a nitriding heat treatment that raises surface hardness and rust resistance, so the pans are less prone to rust than conventional iron pans.

Iron transfers heat quickly and evenly, so grilled foods brown with a savory finish and stir-fried vegetables stay crisp. Both pans work on gas and induction (IH) cooktops. The frying pan weighs 1000 g (35.3 oz / 2.20 lb), and the stir fry pan with lid weighs 1300 g (45.9 oz / 2.87 lb).

Before first use, wash the pans well with detergent and season them with oil. After each use, scrub them with a brush and dry them thoroughly. Made in Japan.
