Wahei Freiz Rakuraku Komachi Anodized Aluminum 2-Tier Steamer 26cm RR-4068

This two-tier steamer from Wahei Freiz's Rakuraku Komachi line is made of lightweight aluminum alloy with an anodized surface inside and out, which resists oxidation and corrosion for long-lasting use. It heats efficiently and is designed for gas stovetops only.

With a capacity of about 5.7 liters (6 qt), it is well suited for rice dishes such as sekihan, and it can hold six to seven chawanmushi cups at once. Used without the steaming tier, the lower pot works as a regular two-handled pot for miso soup, simmered dishes, and other everyday cooking.

The steamer measures about 39.1 x 27.9 x 27.4 cm (15.4 x 11 x 10.8 in) and weighs about 1290 grams (45.5 oz / 2.84 lb). It is manufactured in China.
