Wahei Freiz Rakuraku Komachi Anodized Aluminum 2-Tier Steamer 30cm RR-4070

This two-tier steamer from Wahei Freiz's Rakuraku Komachi line is made of lightweight aluminum alloy with an anodized surface inside and out, which resists oxidation and corrosion for long-lasting use. It heats efficiently and is designed for gas stovetops only.

With a large capacity of about 8 liters (8.5 qt), it is well suited for big batches of chawanmushi, sekihan, and other steamed rice dishes. Using just the lid and the lower pot, it also works as a large stockpot for oden, stew, and other dishes that need plenty of room.

The steamer measures about 41 x 24 x 14.5 cm (16.1 x 9.4 x 5.7 in) and weighs about 620 grams (21.9 oz / 1.37 lb). It is manufactured in China.
