Wahei Freiz Stainless Santoku Knife and Kitchen Scissors Set EM-069

This set from the Enzo series includes a santoku knife and kitchen scissors. Both are made in Tsubame, Niigata.

Craftsmen in the Tsubame-Sanjo region finish the santoku. Its 165 mm (6.5 in) blade is rust-resistant stainless steel. The hygienic resin handle is secured with three rivets for durability.

The kitchen scissors cut food, open bags, crack ginkgo nuts and walnuts, and open screw caps. Fine serrations on the blades keep meat and fish from slipping, and they also help with slick retort pouches.
