These double-wall stainless steel mugs are made by craftsmen at a small factory in Tsubame who specialize in polishing techniques. The outside is hand finished to a deep mirror shine, and the simple shape leaves no room to hide any imperfection in the polishing work.

The inside surface has a fine hairline finish, chosen because it helps a poured drink like beer form a creamier head of foam. Stainless steel also holds a cold feeling once chilled, so cold drinks stay refreshing longer, and extra care was given to the rim, which is polished smooth for a comfortable drinking experience.

Each mug measures about 96 x 75 x 75 mm (3.8 x 3 x 3 in), weighs about 170 g (6 oz / 0.37 lb), and holds 260 ml (8.8 fl oz). The set includes two mugs.
