The Wahei Freiz vacuum simmer pot forms a vacuum inside as the hot air trapped under the lid cools, which speeds up how deeply seasoning soaks into the food. Because the pressure drops instead of building up, there is no risk of the pot boiling over and spraying, and the lid does not need to be locked in place, which the steam valve design also helps keep safe.

The tempered glass lid lets you check on the food as it cooks, and its tight seal means you can cook with only a small amount of water or oil, so less of the nutrients and flavor are lost. It holds up to 3.3 liters (3.5 qt), weighs about 1600 g (56.4 oz / 3.53 lb), comes with a recipe booklet, and is made in China.
