Yamako Hinoki Round Plate Small 32186

This round plate from Yamako is made of hinoki cypress wood and finished with a two-step coating process. An undercoat first strengthens the wood from the inside, and after sanding a matte "Super Fine" topcoat is applied over it, giving the plate a durable finish that guards the wood both inside and out. This differs from ordinary wood coatings, which only form a protective film on the surface.

The plate measures 180 mm in diameter and 28 mm tall (7.1 x 1.1 in) and weighs 122 g (4.3 oz / 0.27 lb). This is the small size in the series.

Made in Japan.
