This butter case is made for 150 g (5.3 oz) blocks of butter. A block this size is easy for a household to finish while the flavor is still fresh. Place the butter on the wire plate and press down firmly with the lid. It cuts the block into thin slices of about 5 g (0.2 oz) without getting your hands messy.
You can also use 200 g (7.1 oz) blocks in this case, though the weight of each piece will be different.
The airtight lid closes snugly to help keep butter fresh in the refrigerator. Made in Japan by Akebono Sangyo.
