This rice funnel is part of Akebono Sangyo's Come Colle collection of rice-related kitchen tools. It combines measuring, storing, and transferring rice into a single accessory, and lets an ordinary plastic bottle double as a rice container.
The funnel can stay attached to the bottle while it is stored in a refrigerator door pocket or vegetable drawer, and keeping rice cold this way is said to help it taste better.
It is made of heat- and cold-resistant polypropylene and is dishwasher safe. The funnel measures 11 x 9.7 x 6.9 cm (4.3 x 3.8 x 2.7 in) and weighs about 62 g (2.2 oz / 0.14 lb).
