Hasegawa Plastic Makisu Sushi Rolling Mat M Blue

This is a sushi rolling mat (makisu) made of polypropylene ribs strung with PET resin thread, used for rolling sushi such as makizushi. The single-filament thread has no knots, so water drains away easily after rinsing. The mat is heat resistant up to 120°C (248°F).

Avoid using it as a trivet or near an open flame, since this can cause the mat to warp or the threads to break. Do not clean it with a metal scouring pad or brush, as this may scratch the ribs or cut the threads.
