This stainless steel oil pot is made in Japan and is designed to work with activated charcoal cartridges, so used cooking oil can be filtered and reused; one cartridge is included.
The filtering chamber holds 600 ml (20.3 fl oz), enough to pour oil in from a tempura pot in a single motion. The wide mouth opening also makes it easy to pour oil back into a cast iron frying pan, a step used when seasoning the pan before cooking.
A wood handle is paired with the stainless steel body for a modern look. The pot measures 18 x 15 x 12.5 cm (7.1 x 5.9 x 4.9 in) and weighs 480 g (16.9 oz / 1.06 lb).
