Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo ECO Whisk AEC-203

The Ajiwai Shokubo ECO Whisk from Shimomura Kogyo is made for quickly beating eggs or whipped cream and mixing ingredients evenly, with uses ranging from baking to everyday cooking. The wire loops are durable stainless steel, and the handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand.

This whisk belongs to the Ajiwai Shokubo ECO series, which blends plant-based biomass material into its resin parts. The biomass plastic is made from molasses left over after sugar is extracted from sugarcane, replacing some of the fossil-fuel-based plastic normally used and helping reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

The whisk is dishwasher safe. It measures 29 x 6 x 1.5 cm (11.4 x 2.4 x 0.6 in) and weighs 55 g (1.9 oz).
