Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Silicone Cooking Tongs AST-217

These silicone-tipped tongs from Shimomura's Ajiwai Shokubo line handle grabbing, stir-frying, tossing, plating, and serving with a single tool. The silicone tips are gentle on food and are safe to use in fluororesin-coated nonstick pots and pans without scratching the coating.

A round hook at the tip can be pulled up to lock the tongs closed in a slim, compact shape, and a hole at the end lets you hang them for storage. The design also keeps the tips from catching on a sponge, making them easy to wash.

The tongs measure 27 x 3.8 x 3.8 cm (10.6 x 1.5 x 1.5 in) and weigh about 110 g (3.9 oz). They are dishwasher safe.
