Shimomura Free Size Drop Lid (Otoshibuta) FO-1

This drop lid (otoshibuta) adjusts to fit a wide range of pot sizes, from about 14 to 23 cm (5.5 to 9.1 in) in diameter, so one lid works with many pots in your kitchen. A ring on top makes it easy to lift out.

Set a small cup or sake cup inside the pot and place this lid on top to turn the pot into a steamer, which is handy for steaming meat buns, vegetables, or chawanmushi.
