Shimomura Futassuru Free-Size Drop Lid (Otoshibuta) FO-101

The Futassuru free-size drop lid (otoshibuta) is designed to fit inside the pot you already own, adjusting to fit pot diameters from about 23 cm (9.1 in) down to 14 cm (5.5 in).

One lid can be used with several different pot sizes instead of buying a separate lid for each pot.

Made of stainless steel, it is placed directly inside the pot, and by setting something like a ceramic sake cup underneath to raise it off the bottom, it can also be used as a steamer.

It measures about 14 x 14 x 3 cm (5.5 x 5.5 x 1.2 in) and weighs about 190 g (6.7 oz / 0.42 lb).
