This slicer is part of the Full Veggie series, a line of kitchen tools designed for specific vegetables and fruits to make everyday prep easier. One tool cuts two styles of julienne: a thin julienne about 3 mm (0.1 in) wide and a thick julienne about 6 mm (0.2 in) wide.
It works well for cucumber julienne or carrot shirishiri (fine shredded carrot) and is handy for general vegetable prep work. The slicer is dishwasher safe and made in Japan.
