The Kagetsuna santoku knife from Shimomura Kogyo is an all-purpose kitchen knife for meat, fish and vegetables.
The blade is rust-resistant, easy-care stainless cutlery steel. The seamless one-piece design leaves no gap between handle and blade where dirt can collect, so it stays hygienic, and it is also very durable. It is dishwasher safe.
The knife has an overall length of 290 mm (11.4 in), a blade length of 165 mm (6.5 in) and a blade thickness of 2.0 mm (0.1 in), and weighs 110 g (3.9 oz / 0.24 lb). Made in Japan.
