Shimomura Karuraku Box Opener Cardboard Cutter KR-606

This box opener is part of Shimomura Kogyo's Karuraku series, designed to make everyday tasks easier for everyone from children to older adults.

It opens firmly glued cardboard boxes with little effort. Just insert the tip into the gap of the box and use leverage to pop it open. It is also handy for small boxes such as snack packages where fingers do not fit easily.

A folding cutter blade comes out only when needed, for cutting packing tape on cardboard boxes or packaging film. It measures 17.8 x 6.8 x 2 cm (7 x 2.7 x 0.8 in) and weighs 38 g (1.3 oz / 0.08 lb). Made in Japan.
