Shimomura Karuraku Kitchen Scissors with Squeezer KR-403

The Karuraku series is designed to turn small daily frustrations in the kitchen into things anyone can do easily, including children and older family members. This kitchen scissors combines five functions in one tool: gripping, cutting, squeezing out contents, cracking ginkgo nuts, and opening bottle caps.

The tips work like tongs, so you can lift a retort pouch out of boiling water without it slipping. A built-in rod lets you press a pouch flat to squeeze out every last bit of its contents.

The scissors can be taken apart for thorough cleaning of every part, keeping them hygienic. At 103 g (3.6 oz), they are light and easy to handle for all ages.
