Shimomura Nabetomo Stainless Peeler NBT-602

Part of the Nabetomo series of hot pot cooking tools, this item is meant to make preparing nabe at home a little easier.

It is a kitchen scissors with a stand case, handy for cutting ingredients or opening retort pouches whenever needed, then standing upright out of the way when you are done.

The serrated blade helps grip slippery ingredients while cutting, and the two halves separate so you can wash even the hard to reach parts.

The case has a magnet and a suction cup on the back so it can be attached to a refrigerator door or similar surface. The blade and metal parts are stainless steel, and the scissors measure about 12 x 6 x 1 cm (4.7 x 2.4 x 0.4 in) and weigh about 42 g (1.5 oz / 0.09 lb).
