Shimomura Pro Grade Hot Sandwich Bread Knife with Sheath PG-106

This versatile knife from Shimomura Kogyo's Pro Grade line combines a wavy edge and a straight edge for multiple uses in the kitchen. The pointed, wavy section of the blade cuts sharply into food, making it easy to slice through crisp, toasted hot sandwiches as well as slippery foods such as chicken.

The straight section of the blade is hand-sharpened by craftsmen and works well for cutting food and peeling. The knife is made from molybdenum vanadium stainless steel, has a handle of thermoplastic elastomer, and comes with a polypropylene sheath for safe storage.

It is dishwasher safe and made in Japan. The knife measures 24.8 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm (9.8 x 1.4 x 0.6 in) and weighs 63 g (2.2 oz / 0.14 lb).
