Shinko Copper Grater with Stainless Steel Tray 15cm

The teeth of this grater are raised one by one by hand with a hammer and chisel, giving it outstanding sharpness while needing very little pressure to use, which is especially welcome when grating larger quantities.

The design lets grated food flow out through side openings into the tray below as you work, so there is no need to transfer it to another container, and the grating section can be lifted out to cook with directly. The tray can also be used on its own as a bowl or serving dish.

The grating surface is tin-plated copper set into an 18-8 stainless steel tray with a rubber gasket.

It measures about 16.2 x 16.2 x 8.2 cm (6.4 x 6.4 x 3.2 in) and weighs about 660 g (23.3 oz / 1.46 lb).
