Shinko Kinzoku Copper Grater 5 Inch

This copper grater has teeth raised one by one by a craftsman using a hammer and chisel. The teeth are set so you can grate efficiently in any direction with little effort, which helps when preparing large amounts.

As you grate, the food falls through openings at the side into the stainless steel bowl below. Remove the grating plate and you can use the contents directly without moving them to another container. The bowl can also be used on its own as a mixing bowl or serving dish.

The grating surface is copper. The grater measures 16.2 x 16.2 x 8.2 cm (6.4 x 6.4 x 3.2 in) and weighs 650 g (22.9 oz). Made in Japan.
