This hammered copper rocks glass from the Hana series is made for enjoying shochu and mizuwari. Copper has excellent heat conductivity, so a cold drink poured in chills almost instantly and stays cold, while the tin lining on the interior gives the drink a smoother, more mellow taste through an ionic effect.

The exterior has a baked clear coating, so it will not discolor from the oxidation that bare copper is prone to. The surface has a hammered texture that gives it an upscale look and a pleasant grip, and the character "Hana" is engraved on both the inside and outside.

This Bronze version has its exterior hand-colored by artisans, so the shade varies slightly from piece to piece, making each glass one of a kind. It holds 180 ml (6.1 fl oz), measures 8 x 6.5 x 6.5 cm (3.1 x 2.6 x 2.6 in), and weighs about 121 g (4.3 oz). Made in Japan.
