This is a Wa no Shokunin aluminum alloy prep tray, size No. 1, made in Japan. The aluminum alloy construction makes it more resistant to warping than a lighter aluminum tray.

It is useful for everyday kitchen prep work such as organizing ingredients before cooking, coating or breading food, and holding prepared ingredients.

It measures about 37.3 x 30.9 x 4.3 cm (14.7 x 12.2 x 1.7 in) and weighs approximately 352 g (12.4 oz). It is not intended for use over direct flame, on an induction (IH) cooktop, in an oven, or in a dishwasher.
