This is a Wa no Shokunin aluminum alloy prep tray, size No. 3, made in Japan. The aluminum alloy construction makes it more resistant to warping than a lighter aluminum tray.

It is useful for everyday kitchen prep work such as organizing ingredients before cooking, coating or breading food, and holding prepared ingredients.

It measures about 31 x 23.9 x 3.6 cm (12.2 x 9.4 x 1.4 in) and weighs approximately 240 g (8.5 oz). It is not intended for use over direct flame, on an induction (IH) cooktop, in an oven, or in a dishwasher.
