Toyo-Sasaki Glass Wamon Sakura Footed Sake Cup 07600-J423

This footed sake cup belongs to Toyo-Sasaki Glass's Wamon series, which features auspicious patterns cherished in Japan since ancient times. It combines a cherry blossom, or sakura, motif with the auspicious asanoha hemp leaf pattern. Cherry blossoms are associated with the arrival of spring and new beginnings, and because the flowers bloom all at once, they are also linked to abundance and prosperity.

Made of Fine Clear soda-lime glass, the cup measures 8 x 7.4 x 7.4 cm (3.1 x 2.9 x 2.9 in) and weighs 130 g (4.6 oz). It comes in an individual gift box, making it suitable for everyday use or as a small present.

Because it has a gold decorated finish, it should not be used in a dishwasher, and since it is not heat resistant glass, it should not be used in a microwave.
