Toyo-Sasaki Glass Wamon Sakura Pattern Sake Cup, Wide Mouth BT-20206

Part of the Wamon series of auspicious Japanese patterns, this wide-mouth sake cup combines a sakura (cherry blossom) motif with an asa-no-ha (hemp leaf) pattern. The cherry blossom is traditionally linked to new beginnings, and its full bloom is associated with abundance and prosperity.

The cup comes in a single presentation box, suitable for everyday use as well as a small gift.

It measures 7.3 x 7.3 x 7 cm (2.9 x 2.9 x 2.8 in) and holds 170 ml (5.7 fl oz), with a total weight of 110 g (3.9 oz / 0.24 lb). Because of its gold decoration it should not be used in a dishwasher, and since it is not heat-resistant glass it should not be used in a microwave.
